Happy International Day of People with Disability
on 3 December
There are approximately two weeks remaining until the InternationalDay of People with Disability (IDPwD) which is a United Nations
sanctioned day held each year on December 3 IDPwD is celebrated
internationally to increase public awareness, understanding and
recognition of people with disability and to celebrate their
accomplishments and contributions. In 2020 the theme for IDPwD is “Future is Accessible” meaning that
societies should remove the existing physical, technological and
attitudinal barriers which prevent people with disability from
participating in an active and meaningful way their societies. At Ability Beyond Boundaries, we hope that globally every society
becomes fully accessible for all people with disability in the future
so they can fully contribute and take on leadership roles in all
aspects of their lives.
