We are excited to share the news about our upcoming event, "Mehregan”. This event is dedicated to introducing the rich historical Persian culture to a broader audience, encompassing various cultures, including the vibrant Australian community. Mehregan promises to be an extraordinary gathering, featuring captivating traditional Persian dance and music performances. We will also have informative presentations on the mythical origins of Mehregan and the opportunity to experience various cherished traditions. What makes this event even more special is that it is primarily organized and operated by people living with disability and women from refugee backgrounds. To enhance the experience, we will be offering a delightful selection of Persian light food and refreshments. We have scheduled the event for 12 October, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and it will be held at the Granville Youth and Community Recreation Centre. We would like to invite you to join us in supporting Persian culture, people living with disability, and refugee and asylum-seeker women. For your convenience, We have attached the event flyer for additional details.
